Syn-Rosavin Project
The Syn-Rosavin Project aims to establish a fully engineered biomanufacturing pathway for producing Rosavin through synthetic biology. By designing optimized enzyme routes, constructing high-efficiency microbial strains, and developing controlled fermentation processes, the project seeks to overcome the limitations of traditional plant extraction — including unstable supply, slow cultivation cycles, and environmental constraints.
Our objective is to create a scalable, traceable, and high-purity source of Rosavin suitable for global nutraceutical, functional food, and wellness formulations. The project integrates computational pathway design, molecular engineering, and downstream purification to deliver consistent quality while enabling long-term industrial sustainability.
